Sugar Rush Christmas

Welcome to the shop.
A tiny candy-shop bakery on North Fifth Avenue in Beech Grove — hand-painted cakes, decorated sugar cookies, a wall of fifty-five-and-counting candies, and a "do not lick the walls" sign we sincerely mean.
The bride wanted ivory on ivory. The groom wanted raspberry filling. We gave them both — with a single dark fold of buttercream where the thumbprint of the cake-cutter would land.
Dec 2024 · Wedding White × Raspberry Cream · 120 servings
Cherries, rainbows, citrus, skulls, princesses, and the occasional groom's-cake barrel of bourbon. Custom is the whole game.

Checkerboard floor. Pressed-tin ceiling. A whole wall of fifty-five kinds of candy, sprinkles painted right onto the wall, and a sign above the case that says — we mean it — do not lick the walls.
Cake show on Netflix, local-TV honor, magazine feature, community badge — we keep good company.

The vision I had for our wedding cake came to life beautifully. Everyone at our wedding ate every bit of that four-tier cake. Raving reviews all night.
She did my husband's 50th birthday cake and did a phenomenal job. Liz and Mike are so easy to work with — prompt responses, the best customer service, and the best-tasting cakes we have ever had.
A cake is the only edible thing a person remembers for thirty years.— Liz Thompson, baker & owner
