Welcome to the shop.
Creating custom tiers of joy!
A tiny candy-shop bakery on North Fifth Avenue in Beech Grove — hand-painted cakes, decorated sugar cookies, a wall of fifty-five-and-counting candies, and a "do not lick the walls" sign we sincerely mean.

Four tiers, ivory on ivory, sugar peonies set by hand at midnight.
The bride wanted ivory on ivory. The groom wanted raspberry filling. We gave them both — with a single dark fold of buttercream where the thumbprint of the cake-cutter would land.

A little of what's been in the case.
Cherries, rainbows, citrus, skulls, princesses, and the occasional groom's-cake barrel of bourbon. Custom is the whole game.

The shop on North Fifth.
Checkerboard floor. Pressed-tin ceiling. A whole wall of fifty-five kinds of candy, sprinkles painted right onto the wall, and a sign above the case that says — we mean it — do not lick the walls.
A cake is the only edible thing a person remembers for thirty years.— Liz Thompson, baker & owner
