Welcome to the shop.

Creating custom tiers of joy!

A tiny candy-shop bakery on North Fifth Avenue in Beech Grove — hand-painted cakes, decorated sugar cookies, a wall of fifty-five-and-counting candies, and a "do not lick the walls" sign we sincerely mean.

The interior of Gwendolyn Lee Cakery — checkerboard floor, teal counter with a tiered wedding cake, candy-jar wall, sprinkle decals, yellow vintage chair by the window.
Come on in.

Four-tier wedding cake with sugar peonies
This month

Four tiers, ivory on ivory, sugar peonies set by hand at midnight.

The bride wanted ivory on ivory. The groom wanted raspberry filling. We gave them both — with a single dark fold of buttercream where the thumbprint of the cake-cutter would land.

★★★★★

They did a phenomenal job with our wedding cake. It was true to the reference photo we gave them, with slight creative liberties to make it their own — and it was even more beautiful than the reference.

She did my husband's 50th birthday cake and did a phenomenal job. Liz and Mike are so easy to work with — prompt responses, the best customer service, and the best-tasting cakes we have ever had.
